The celebrations and activities started the day before our wedding. We invited our closest family and friends to stay with the bridal party at the wedding venue, Campbell Point House.
As we had decided the keep the wedding venue a surprise for all our guests by telling everyone that the wedding would be held at a Geelong pub, Customs House, we also had to keep the accommodation for the 30 guests a secret for as long as possible.
So, as family and close friends flew in from around Australia, the UK and US, they were each provided with the mystery address, to their surprise, 30mins past Geelong, and 1.5 hours out of Melbourne!
After a few logistical hick-ups, organisation of who was sleeping where, and the immediate need to turn every heater on in the house (it was so cold you could see your own breath while standing in the bedroom)...the Gunson and Dexheimer family came together at Campbell Point House around a banquet style dinner and the romantic light of multiple mobile phones (long story!). Here we spent the night exchanging stories, catching up and getting to know each other whilst enjoying beautiful wines, proudly provided by the groom himself.
After dinner, the wife and husband-to-be said their good nights, and separated into different rooms, banned to see each other again until at the altar.
This did prove to be a little difficult for breakfast, but after Tom enjoyed breakfast with the families and had been pushed out of the main house to the pool house where he was to spend the rest of the day, I was able to venture out of my room and start the day's preparations (whilst working with one of our wonderful guests on how to organise a generator last minute - same long story!).
Here are few happy snaps, as we were primped and preened, curled and glossed and worked on the buttons of the dress for what seemed like hours!
The day for the guys was a little bit different to the girls.
After trying to negotiate with the property owner to ensure that the wedding dinner wasn't in darkness (like the previous night's dinner) whilst supporting one of our beautiful guests who did an amazing job organising a generator, plus a quick run into Geelong to print out forgotten speeches (and pick up more beer!), the boys enjoyed their day down at the pool house - stress free ;o)
Here are few pics of the boys getting ready.

The guys did have one more job to do... they had to meet the rest of the wedding guests at the venue communicated on the invites, as the 'wedding venue' - Customs House.
After meeting and greeting, a couple of drinks (and shots) Tom made the announcement of a bus ride to our guests, about a new venue. The guests were then bused off to where the bride was awaiting her groom.
The sun came out, the rain stayed away and although pretty chilly, Mother Nature was kind to us. A big thank you to Father James for his beautiful words and making our day a lot of fun.
Also thank you to Shani and Christine for bravely agreeing to read at the wedding! xx
A massive thank you to our bridal party. To Jon, Mark, Carla and Janine. Thank you for all your support! Girls, we have no idea how we would have pulled everything together without you! You were rock stars, keeping things calm and organised throughout the whole event! Guys - thank you for making sure Tom turned up on time (fairly sober). And Jon, for looking after him Thursday night at the bucks!
Here are a few photos of our wedding which we were so lucky to enjoy with all our family and closest friends. Thank you for being a part of our very special day xxx

A big thank you to Darren, our amazing MD, for rounding up the crowds and ensuring the event ran on time and to plan (and it was a very detailed running sheet!!)
Jon, Papa, Christine and Darren - thank you for your powerful words (and photos Darren!) Thank you! xx
Brandon, thank you for surprising us by filming the whole wedding and all the speeches! Your steady arm made the mobile phone filming almost professional (if anyone else wants to see the videos, let us know and we can send you a link).
Jane - thank you for saving the day! Thank you for your calm approach to what could have been a disaster and for just getting it done without any fuss or stress! You are our hero!! And thank you to the boys, who moved the gas heaters around the property in an effort to warm our guests (a part of that long story!)
Finally a big, heartfelt thank you to all our guests. You made our day so very special and so much fun! xxx

Espresso martinis, champagne, scotch, cigars combined with a DJ and saxophone player to make the last hours of the evening fly past!
A big, big thank you to the stunning Pheobe for singing as we danced our first dance together. Such a talented and gorgeous girl!
